LPN Per Diem Job

LPN needed for A PER-DIEM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Smyrna, Tennessee.

THE BIG PICTURE:

Our client is looking for someone who is available sporadically to do flu shots. Typically a request is for 2-3 hours at the jobsite, and most are flexible for the date and hours. Yoh will pay a 4 hour minimum if shift is under that time. We usually ask the employer for several dates that might work for them and we select one depending on the coverage we have available.

At this time, I have a request for Sept 30 from 10- 11 am, and again 6-7 pm. (4 hours paid for each shift)

These are the dates that our client needs coverage for in the clinic to help during vacations, etc. Currently they need someone 9/25, 9/26, 9/27, and 9/29.The clinic is open M-F 8a- 6p, and Sat/Sun 9a-3p.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The LPN would need to plan to come to the clinic to prepare the shots needed, travel to the site to give the injections, and back to the clinic to complete paperwork and return supplies.
- Work in clinic as needed to assist with walk ins, pre placement physicals, injections, flu shots and first aid
- Document no shows, cancellations and reschedules
- Collect co-pay and give receipts

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- At least Three (3) years of experience in a health, medical office/clinic as an LPN
- Must have experience with injections, flu shots, first aid and be able to work independently
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet navigation, etc
- Excellent communication skills (speak clearly), Bilingual in Spanish
- Oriented to task detail
- Great clinical skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
