Logistics Procurement Project Manager

Our client in the pharmaceutical industry requires a LogisticsProcurement Project Manager

Start: ASAP
Time: part time in the beginning, then full-time
Location: South of Brussels

MISSION DESCRIPTION:

As part of its strategy, the client would like to establish centraldepots in Asia/US in order to support its clinical studies taking intoaccount the Vaccines requirements for the storage and the distribution.
Sourcing activities, Request for information and Request for proposalwould then be necessary in order to select these depots. This willinclude proposal analysis, negotiation and contract implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Support the strategy of the Clinical Logistics category and itsdevelopment.
* Run Supplier-qualifications (RFIs) & Request for Proposals (RFPs)highlighting the best value for money
* Manage relationship with Internal business partners & assurehighest service level
* Plan and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensure critical issuesare incorporated into contract and improve contract terms to protectthe client
* Contribute to the cost savings delivery of the overall Procurementsavings target
* Understands and advocates use of Procurement tools and processes.
* Ensures compliance to internal policies, all legal requirements andthe buying process

PREREQUISITES:

Specific skills:

* Negotiation

* Synthesis and analytical skills
* Quick Learner, Dynamic, Result oriented.

Knowledge:

* Strong affinity with IT tools (excel, Powerpoint)
* ability to calculate financial datas and to interpretate financialstatements (SFE)
* sourcing processes, sourcing and implementation
* Fluent in EN/FR

Experience:

* > 3 years of procurement experience* depending on learning agilityand other experience
* Experience in Logistics sourcing, (+) in cold chain environmentand/or with regulatory constraints
* Experience in project/change management
* Experience in large organizations
