Logistics Planning Analyst

SUMMARY:

- Plan, direct, or coordinate activities to create and support Software/Process solutions that enable Client success.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities such as designing and coding SAS, MS Access and MS Excel solutions to business problems.
- Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to the team.
- Analyze technology, resources need to complete a request, and assess the feasibility of projects.
- This role will work on the team that coordinates supplier response times.
- It will work very closely with the team to continue/improve today's process (including SAS code, MS Access Databases, and MS Excel sheets with macros while we plan and develop the next generation of the process which will include systems support and process flow.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in systems development, computer science, business, or other relative field.
- One to seven years relevant experience with previous project management experience required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Knowledge of systems design, database design, flow charting, SAS programming as a data manipulation tool, MS Access, MS Excel (including macros), and how do document projects and code.
- Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Excel (including Macros), etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

- SAS Programming experience - data manipulation
- Program planning and design experience - requirements through testing
- Ability to code solutions to business problems
- Quick learner
- Energetic self-starter
- Desired qualities: Tableau experience.
