Logistics Expert wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Degree in technical or business area, preferably in Supply Chain
- 2+ years' working experience within Supply Chain logistics combined with Commercial background
- Competency of freight forwarding and material movement within Supply Chain
- Know-How of SAP in compliance with a strong background in logistics
- Organizational and communication skills in compliance with strength in Stakeholder Management
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
YOUR TASKS:
- Conducting physical material flow from the manufacturing sites through the Global Hub in Switzerland to the customer points in 120 countries
- Being single point of contact for airlines, forwarders and agents in case of issues and problems during global material movement
- Fulfilling budgetary targets for Technical Operations Supply Chain Logistics by applying LEAN Logistics and smart approaches
- Ensuring transportation of all materials in a fully compliant manner by monitoring documents and material flow as well as providing all necessary information for 3rd party partners for a compliant material flow
- Developing and implementing stakeholder management program for 60+ partners and meeting regularly with 3rd party service providers for performance issues, process issues or quality issues
- Creating all necessary documents in SAP system such as invoice, packing list and weight note
