Locum General/Acute Medicine Consultant in Sussex

Locum General/Acute Medicine Consultant required for long-term locum in Sussex.

The Consultant will be covering ward rounds and outliers, on both General and Acute Medical Units, in the mornings. In the afternoons, you will be covering the Acute Medical Unit, including Rapid Assessment Unit. You will also be required to take responsibility for registrar debriefing and patient reviews.

The doctor will be required to work full-time, Monday to Friday, starting 16th December until at least 31st January 2014 (likely extension if doctor agrees). The hours are 09:00 to 17:00, with no on call committments at present. Half an hour is taken for lunch, and weekends and bank holidays you will have off. The client is offering excellent pay rates for this long-term role, and travel and/or accommodation may also be subsidised subject to negotiation.
