Our Dublin City based client has an immediate requirement for a Localization Engineer. There is an immediate start available for the right candidate. You must have 2+ years localisation engineering experience with a software publisher or localization provider.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project scope analysis of software and help to determine what is involved in updating a product.
- Proven ability to leverage files manually and through application tools
- Working with resource editor tools to isolate and fix defects
- Understanding and writing of batch files
- Fixing GUI & functional bugs across various products, platforms & languages
- Troubleshooting and fixing technically challenging issues in localized versions of products.
- Work to strict deadlines.
- Confident in talking to and e-mailing clients.
- Completion of weekly status reports
- Games experience
- Workflow knowledge
- SQL
- Java
