Local Enhanced Service Project Manager

I am currently recruiting for a LES Project Manager for a PCT in London.
This is an interim role to end of April 2013
Banding 8c

Main Objectives
To review the CCGs current Local Enhanced Services offering across the borough, recommending new LES arrangements based on the following principles:

- Robust management of LES investment in practices, with engagement of the broader GP community via the member meetings and community pharmacy services
- Register and manage GP interests including conflicts of interest in LESs and ensure probity within the commissioning process
- Review current LESs in line with the commissioning strategy plan, Out of Hospital Strategy and joint strategic needs assessment
- Ensure LESs meet the needs of patient and population health needs, as well as deliver value for money, high quality services.
- Monitor the effective delivery and implementation of LES
- Develop new Local Enhanced Services as appropriate and evaluate uptake and achievement.
- Develop practical and simple processes for implementation.

To manage relationships and engagement with General Practices, CLS, , the LMC, Primary Care Contracting, the NCB to ensure effective delivery and buy in.
To manage risks to the CCG in adopting the recommended solution, including financial, operational and reputational.

Person Specification:
Previous experience of completing LES reviews for a health economy.
Senior management experience of primary care commissioning and contracting.
