On behalf of our client, a global financial services company, Swisslinx is urgently looking for an Application to work within the Real Estate group of our client. Due to the urgency of this contract, we are looking for local people who are available to start next week!
Are you looking for a challenging contract that gives you the chance to liaise with various stakeholders within the bank?
In this 12-months contract, you will be working in the Corporate Real Estate team which is responsible for all applications that are used to plan and operate the internally used buildings of our client, but also for running real estate building projects.
The system landscape is built on a multi-layer CAD System where data is extracted and imported into the CAD Database, but also the real estate applications which are built on C++ and/or Delphi with an IBM Informix database Back End, running on UNIX.
In this contract, you will be responsible for looking after the non-CAD real estate building applications in order to ensure their operations, but also to liaise with the various business stakeholders (which include construction Architects, Engineers, PMs, etc) in order to implement the processes necessary into the applications.
In order to be considered for this position, we are looking for a candidate who does not only cover the technical skills, but ideally also the business knowledge:
- Min. 5 years experience as a System Administrator or Application Supporter
- Good understanding of Building Projects and the related processes is a strong asset; Alternatively good knowledge of Real Estate, Facility or Workspace Management
- Fluent English; min. conversational German
- 3-5 years with C++/C#/Delphi on Unix is mandatory. Informix DB knowledge is an asset.
