Liquid Industrial Waste Technician II

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a LIQUID INDUSTRIAL WASTE TECHNICIAN to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Liquid Industrial Waste Technician will on day shift and will interact with engineering and technicians to support the LIWS team.
- Technician will assist in basic LIWS daily operations, ie housekeeping, move totes
- Liquid Industrial Waste Technician will be role modelling safety
- Liquid Industrial Waste Technician will also be responsible for offloading liquid chemicals to/from tank trucks
- Liquid Industrial Waste Technician II will perform daily rounds and readings

Job Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) plus years of experience in Liquid industrial waste systems and truck offloads.
- Hazardous material/chemical handling training including use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Control of Hazardous Energies (CoHE) training
