ALL-INCLUSIVE DAILY RATE CHF 680/DAY
A leading tier-1 banking client of mine are currently looking for a Linux/Unix System Engineer for a job opportunity in Zürich.
As the Linux/Unix System Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for taking the server OS and hardware platform and integrating it into the client's ecosystem. Your responsibility will include creating and engineering an auditing system for the Solaris and Linux systems of my client, which includes the enabling and configuring of the audit for Solaris and Linux system, performance analysis and packaging of the audit solution.
Some key skills you will need for this job are:
- Strong Solaris 10 and Linux RedHat 5 and 6 engineering knowledge
- Excellent packaging knowledge (RPM or SysV)
- Very good Scripting knowledge (Bash, Korn, Perl) for automation
- Experience in a large environment (5000+ Servers)
- Fluent English
This is for a contract job with an initial duration of 3 months. Ideally you are available immediately.
