LINUX SYSTEM EXPERT
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Linux System Expert to join one of their clients, a well renowned consulting company. For this contract assignment based in Basel, we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is immediately available.
Are you an experienced Linux System Expert with solid KNOWLEDGE LINUX (PREFERABLY RED HAT ENTERPRISE LINUX) who is looking for a new and exciting challenge? If yes please apply!
YOUR PROFILE:
- Strong experience in Linux (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
- Strong on, Unix Shell Scripting, eg bash
- Experience working in a GxP environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a geographically dispered team
- (Basic) Knowledge of Operational testing eg Installation Qualification (IQ) and Functional testing
- Knowledge of development life cycle & change process
YOUR TASKS:
- Help in updating/migrating operating system from red Hat Linux version 6 to 7
- Changing grid resource manager from Sun grid engine to IBM Platform (Spectrum) LSF
