LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - SAN FRANCISCO

Are you a strong Linux administrator looking to work in an environment with over 200 Servers? Do you have strong Scripting/Automation experience using Puppet or a similar technology? Do you have programming experience? Are you familiar with or have experience with networking fundamentals? If so, this San Francisco position could be for you. This 6 Month ++ Contract to perm opportunity is ideal for a strong Linux Administrator to improve the reliability of a Real Time application. You role will entail system administration, Server Rollouts, System builds, etc. You will gain excellent exposure to virtualization, storage administration, cloud computing, build automation, and system integration. In addition to Linux experience you must have some exposure to networking and web services. This long term contract opportunity requires very minimal travel 5%. REQUIRED SKILLS

- Linux systems administration 4+ Years
- Scripting (Shell/Perl) - strong Scripting skills
- Programming Skills - C and/or C++
- Puppet or similar automation tool
- Back End production and web serving environments
