Linux System Administrator

We are looking for a Linux System Administrator for one of our clients

POSITION SUMMARY:

- Associates should have experience in various Linux flavour (Debian based, RHEL)
- Should manage problems for Linux Servers' Disk/User management, server security/hardening, patch/pkg management
- Should be able to perform monitoring and performance tuning for Servers
- The job would include managing various Vmware ESX/ESXI environment, create report, status, Minutes of meetings, follow up with various vendors and customer on pending activities, schedule meetings with the customer and internal teams
- Experienced in reviewing the Servers logs, server builds/decommission & movement
- Facilitate/Involve Technical troubleshooting as per requested tickets/mails and implement Change requests for server related issues.
- Configuration/Management of Apache Web Server
- Able to Backup and restore as per requirements
- Should be capable of meeting the BCP requirements

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Should have experience as Linux administrator in infrastructure services
- Should have an ability to work with heterogeneous environments
- Should be good in English and French languages (Spoken, written and read)
- Official working language will be English/French

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant work experience as Linux administrator for large IT service provider (Total experience can be 4+ years)
- knowledge of Vmware and snapshots,
- Able to publish Minutes of Meetings and prepare documentation as per requirements
- Ability to understand and clearly relate to other members of the organization, technical manuals, software specifications, hardware principals of operations and general methods of systems software operations
