IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Management and optimization of existing Linux server landscape
-2nd and 3rd level support (troubleshooting, performance tuning, incident and change management) of Linux Servers
-Prepare and execute planned maintenance/upgrades (security patching, operating system and tool upgrades, ...)
-OS Preparation and development for application environments (e.g. Oracle, SAP)
-Evaluate new hard- and software
-Support customer to develop individual solutions
-Scoping of new projects and project support (local and global)
-Cloud migration support

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-In depth technology knowledge of LINUX (RedHat, SUSE) and LDAP (Oracle LDAP, OpenLDAP)
-Experience with security (Bastion enabling, DMZ, secure protocols)
-Experience with performance issues, performance monitoring, planning and tuning in complex environments
-Experience with RUNDECK and PUPPET (config management and automation)
-General understanding of SAP and ORACLE on LINUX
-Scripting language skills (Python or Perl, Shell)
-Technical writing skills to provide proper documentation according to internal and external regulations
-Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
-Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision and to work effectively under pressure
-Quick learner, motivated self-starter
-Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
-Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines; able to work in a global team and in a multiple cultural environment
