My industry leading client is currently recruiting for a Linux Server Engineer to join them on a potentially long term monthly rolling contract based in central London. The succesfull candidate will be involved in the deployment of Linux server, patching, roles and features. Linux Hardware’ Setup and Installation of LINUX Servers and SUN Solaris 8, 9,10 Server setup and Installation, for various Linux and Solaris Applications.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Strong working knowledge Linux
- Good working knowledge of middle tier application Servers such as WebSphere Application Server
- Server deployment, patching, roles and features
- Installation of new Linux Servers using VMWare Virtualization Technologies.
- Interaction with Customers, developers and DBA's for various Project Related works.
- Integration of Windows and UNIX Servers using LDAP Authentication.
