Description:
Linux & Hardware Administrator required for a 3-6 month contract based in Dublin City.
Role:
Role is for experienced Data Center Linux & Hardware Engineers with a passion for technology to help my client expand their Cloud to the next level.
You will be the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers.
Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficiently.
You will be the escalation point and technical trouble-shooter for all Systems and Network hardware problems.
You will also be responsible for deep diving into Linux server issues.
Requirements:
-Solid Understanding of Linux/Unix Administration
-Server Hardware Troubleshooting experience
-Server Booting: POST, BIOS, PXE, Kickstart, GRUB/LILO, RAID
-Some Experience with Network Protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet, L2/L3 technologies
-Network Hardware: Copper and Optical Fiber Cabling, Switches, Routers
-Strong Communication Skills
-Passionate about IT infrastructure and hardware!
MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN IRELAND.
