Linux Engineer (Perm), Financial Sector (AVP),London ALondonbased financial services company is looking for a Linux (Redhat/Centos) engineer to provide support in their FX department. Previous financial experience is not essential for this role! This role is perfect for a self-starter who is willing to explore the depths of technology and carve their own niche in a ever-changing field. The role will focus initially upon troubleshooting and maintaining the initial infrastructure. There will also be a large element of project work including solution builds and application rollouts. However, the role will develop in line with the candidates skill set. Skill set: - Linux administration (Redhat/Centos) - Linux based scripting - IBM Websphere MQ - Networking experience (beneficial not essential) Please note this is a permanent role with ample opportunities for career progression.
