LINUX ENGINEER - FINANCIAL SERVICES - PARIS - 6 MONTHS - MARKET RATES

A leading financial services organisation has an urgent need for a Linux Engineer who is able to provide Desktop Support services, to join a talented technical support team based in Paris.

The Linux Engineer will provide 70% Linux Systems support working within a Fixed Income environment and 30% Desktop Support for all users with technology related incidents.

The successful Linux Engineer will need experience of both RedHat and Solaris in an Enterprise environment. In addition, they will need to be able to provide Desktop Support services, making sure all requests are logged, resolved and escalated if necessary.

This position is based in Paris and so the successful applicant will ideally speak French.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Experience as a Linux Systems Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Solaris and Redhat
- Ability to provide strong Desktop Support services
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in French is a distinct advantage
