Linux Engineer - Boulder CO

I am looking for a Linux engineer that will be working in a engineering and production system administration role, working within a global team, focussed on improving my client's expanding infrastructure and providing support to their critical Linux/UNIX systems. Your tasks will consist of: * Engineering new Linux-based solutions as required by business, product, or technology teams. * Providing production support to critical Linux systems. * Participation in an on-call and out-of-hours support rota * Improving the productivity of the Linux team through automation * Troubleshooting and automated configuration of application servers, web servers, mail services and other Linux services Your technical profile: - minimum of 5 years working experience with red hat Linux system administration - experience with clustering of Veritas and IBM solutions - advanced knowledge of Puppet, Cacti - experience building monitoring tools - excellent shell scripting Soft skills: - excellent communication skills - you are capable of working on a global team - understanding of business objectives On offer is a role with big global player in the Finance space.
