Linux Engineer

LOCATION: THE HAGUE

POSITION: LINUX ENGINEER

CONTRACT : 6 MONTHS

We are looking for a Linux engineer to join a client of ours based in the Hague, Amsterdam. You will be working in a innovative and techincal environment on a 6 month project which is possible for extention.

MANDATORY'S:

-Working knowledge of English (level to be specified: B18, B2 or higher)
-A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in ICT in a medium-sized enterprise environment
-Experience with managing Linux RedHat (version 6.5 or 7) Servers in a medium-sized enterprise.

DESIRABLES:

-Knowledge of Ubuntu server
-Knowledge of Bash and/or other Scripting languages
-Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/12 or higher
-Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Sharepoint services
-Knowledge of virtualised and clustered environments
-Knowledge of Apache web server
-Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle, My-SQL, Postgres databases
-Awareness of generic Networking concepts such as switching, Firewalling, load balancing
-Certification on any of the above-mentioned technologies
