Linux Engineer

For our client in Amstelveen we are urgently looking for a Linux/Unix Engineer. This is a great challenge to work in a challenging environment and to gain more knowledge in your expertise as an Linux/Unix Engineer. The opportunity is untill the end of the year with possible extension.

Linux/Unix Engineer

Extensive description of the role and responsibilities involved. Project Support and delivery on Linux like:

- Installing Linux based packages
- Create start/stop scripts
- Configure of the Linux setup
- Support the application installations
- Creating Linux software builds to easy install systems

Must have skills:

-Extensive hands-on knowledge and experience (minimum 3 years) of Redhat 5 and 6 (Linux Redhat Engineer Certification) (LPIC-2 and higher level is a pre)
-Networking (CCNA and higher level)
-Security
