For a client in Amsterdam area I am currently looking for a Linux DevOps engineer. The client is a leading organization in the telecom industry that uses innovative technologies to stay ahead of its competition.
The team where this position is available is part of the technology and innovation department that works on the Server Side components for different media & entertainment products. An example of such a product is the set-top box.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- More than 5 years of experience with Linux distributions (Redhat, Centos, Ubuntu)
- Experienced with configuration management tools such as puppet or Ansible
- Hands-on experience with Scripting (python, bash or Perl)
- Extensive hands-on experience with Docker container
THE JOB
- Design, setup & maintenance of the core infrastructure
- Closing tickets and working on optimisation
- Checking monitor alarms, diagnosing the symptoms, analysing the root causes and making preventive plans
