Linux Operations consultant with excellent DevOps skills (DevOps/Linux)
Client: App Platform Development company
Location: Oslo, Norway
Length: 6 to 9 months
Start: ASAP
Hourly rate: Max. £50phr all in
The right consultant will be expected to independently be able to maintain a Linux app-environment, that will run a multitude of different containerized services to serve the clients' cloud offering. Specifically you will be responsible for the stack hosting the applications, up to and including the Docker instances running the applications.
The environment runs on Linux machines, Ubuntu 16.04LTS, and with configuration that currently runs with Ansible. The client is open to Puppet, Chef or similar tools.
The consultant MUST have strong DevOps skills.
Competences required for this role:
- PostgreSQL (m/streaming replication and failover at master-outage)
- Elasticsearch
- RabbitMQ
- Redis
- Consul
- Docker
