POSITION: Linux Architect
DURATION: 3-6 months
LOCATION: Luxembourg
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Design, tests and documentation of Technical Architecture of the UNIX environment which specialization on Linux (Red Hat) technology
- Coordinate with project managers to define the project tasks
- Implementation of projects tasks assigned by Project manager or Team leader in agreed timeframe.
- Represent the organisation as Linux architect to the customer and deliver quality consulting on evolution of this technology in customer environment.
- Stay updated on the production environment of UNIX (specially Linux) Servers and related tools and help with critical administrative tasks when required.
- Handling and implementation of service requests and change requests if needed
- Troubleshoot, resolution and documentation of problems related to Linux.
- Reports the work done and the status of projects tasks to project manager weekly
- Participates to the On-call services and performs planned interventions assigned as per need.
- Documentation of the work performed
SKILLS
- Good technical, documentation and communication skills
- Expertise in Scripting in Perl/Shell is added advantage
