Datacenter Line Technician
The company is currently looking for a new Datacenter engineer/Line technician in order to ensure the proper relocation of one of their Datacenters in Brussels. The candidate would join a team of 5 to 10 members in order to bring his additional expertise. After an initial period and based on the candidate's performances he would have the opportunity to take part on the full project's life cycle on a long term basis.
Main areas of expertise:
-Relocation of the current Datacenter which includes cabling, dismantling, reconnecting & re-patching.
-Installation of several racks into different datacenters
-Bring his expertise in Airflow & Cooling matters in order to maintain the expected quality of the Datacenter environment.
-Ensure the follow-up on the quality of connections & power supply elements.
-Replacing & repair.
Mandatory skills:
-Languages: English, Dutch is a big asset.
-Excellent knowledge of the datacenters environment & related technologies:
Cabling technologies: CAT 5,6,7, UTP, STP, MTP.
Airflow technologies.
Cooling technologies
-Used to handle queries under ticketing process: preferably with Lotus Note.
-Good knowledge of batching & patching.
-Dynamic & fast operating.
-Able to operate autonomously but also to work within a team.
Contract type:
-In a first stage the candidate would be employed under a contract up till the end of the year. This first stage would be considered as a training/test period based up on the performances of the candidate.
-If the candidate meets the expectations the contract would be renewed into long term opportunities.
Salary Package:
