Projektbeschreibung
Our client is a multinational pharmaceutical company and is looking for a LIMS Support to join the IT Support Team. The LIMS Support will ensure support activities of two LIMS (LABWARE and a HOME-MADE LIMS). The LIMS Support will be based in Walloon Babant for at least 2 years.
Scope of work:
In the Context of R&D Clinical Labs, we have two LIMS [LABORATORY INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM]:
- A home made LIMS based on Oracle Database, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. The
goal is to continue to support this LIMS for the next two years
- Labware is one of the top leading LIMS in the market and we are progressively deploying this
technology in R&D Clinical Labs
We are in a strongly regulated environment in which test/validation is very important. There will be no
compromise on quality and we promote a "Right first time" approach.
We are looking for a person that can join the LIMS team in order to:
- Ensure support activities of Cristal and work as back-up of the lead analyst-programmer.
- Ensure support activities of Labware and participate to its deployment.
1. Cristal
- Understand Cristal Software (functional and technical points of view),
- Be the IT contact person for users in case of question/problem encountered in production environment (2nd line help desk). Answer the question or solve the problem if necessary. In particular, this leads sometimes to execute/adapt SQL scripts.
2. Labware
- Understand Labware software (functional and technical points of view),
- Be the IT contact person for users in case of question/problem encountered in production environment (2nd line help desk). Answer the question or solve the problem if necessary.
- Participate to the development of the software by testing and validating its functions,
During this mission, the consultant will work inside the LIMS Team in close collaboration with technical
experts and business analysts.
The goal is to construct a long term relationship in which the consultant will progressively understand our LIMS applications in details. He/she will progressively be able to analyse the context and
propose/execute solutions by him/herself.
Requirements:
Must have
Knowledge of Oracle Databases
Knowledge of Labware software from a functional and technical points of view
Self-confident/assertive behavior,
Good analysis skills
Voluntary to learn
Team player
Knowledge of French (spoken, written). Most users speak French only.
Knowledge of English (spoken, written). Deliverables will be in English.
Availability for the role start of 2014 [January/February] on a full time basis for a long term
involvement [2 - 3 years]
