Lighting Designer

My client is looking for a lighting designer or specialist that has experience of working on bespoke buildings for internal and external lighting designs. The successful candidate will work on an initial contract with the opportunity to become perm. The basic requirements are below. you will be working with the design team and should have experience designing building services in new builds. Any experience of working with WSP or AECOM on luxury developments will make you stand out.

You will need to have an understanding of lighting performance, products (and their application), state of light and visualisation. You will be working on bespoke specialist lighting schemes, tailored to the clients need whether internal or external. There will be regular discussions with the architects around the ambience and psychology of the lighting and the way it interacts with the building to achieve the clients desired result.

A Mechanical Engineer should have:

- A minimum of 4 years' Building Services/lighting design experience (but not a

CAD operator)
- Experience within the residential sector and private sector, ideally

having been working with another Consultant
- Experience with AMTECH, DIALUX, RELUX or AGI 32.
