The Rural Payments Agency has a unique role within the UK. We pay farmers, traders and land owners over £2 billion each year to support the farming and food sector. We also manage over 40 schemes to help ensure our communities are healthy. From carrying out thousands of inspections and checks to cattle tracing, our work is keeping the rural economy strong.

Behind the scenes here, our in-house IT experts keep things running smoothly - ensuring everyday essential technology is in place and effective. Joining this team, you'll look after the day-to-day management of RPA's hardware and software asset licencing - making sure that we are compliant with our suppliers' terms and conditions. You'll check renewals and increase or reduce support agreements in line with what is right for the business. Your use of asset discovery, licence control and database management tools will be central to this role as you advise and support I & T projects, work with our business partners and engage with internal and external auditors.

Whether you are handling everyday licencing issues or creating long-term asset management plans, you'll be putting your knowledge, teamwork and collaboration skills to good use. Relevant experience and a talent for delivering at pace will be essential too.
