LGV 1 & LGV 2 Drivers

OUR CLIENT:

Major Food Distributor Company working out of Hemel Hempstead is urgently looking for experienced LGV1 / LGV2 Drivers. The role as LGV1 / LGV2 Driver is dealing with a major fast food chain delivering to supermarkets in and around London and the surrounding areas.

AIM OF ROLE:

As an LGV1 / LGV2 Driver you will be stores covering a vast area. Shifts run 24/7 and can offer various start times including weekends and nights. Working hours average at 50 hours per week with plenty over overtime on offer. Assessment and training will be offered prior to working for the company. Positions on offer include full time, part time and ad hoc

Other duties of the successful LGV1 / LGV2 Driver include:

*Delivery of goods in a timely and efficient manner
*Reporting vehicle defects
*Completing delivery notes Skills

SALARY:

Excellent rates of pay up to £20 per hour for LGV1 / LGV2 Drivers.

Basic rates as a contractor is £15 per hour.

ABOUT YOU:

Experience required of the LGV1 / LGV2 Driver:

- Licence held for a minimum of 2 years
- Strictly no more than 6 points on licence
- Digital Tacho Card required
- A strong knowledge of local routes and motorway networks
- Understanding of driver hours and work time directive
