Level 2 Desktop Support - CBD (Q3)

One of my key clients in the Brisbane Market is looking for an experienced LEVEL 2 DESKTOP SUPPORT consultant to assist with internal customers following an enterprise wide Windows 7 deployment. In this role you will be required to provide Level 2 Desktop Support to internal customers following the Desktop Deployment, so having a thorough understanding of the Windows 7 environment is essential. This is an initial 3 month contract based in the CBD.

Your key responsibilities in this position will include following

- Desktop device audits of all sites prior to Desktop replacement 
- Tier 2 Support for customers following Desktop replacement
- Tier 2 Support for customers following Desktop Windows 7 upgrade
- Implementation of desktop memory upgrades required for Windows 7 MOE upgrade
- Liaising with customers for on-site support
- Ensure good customer service to all ICT customers

To be successful in this position you will have the following key skills and experience

- Thorough knowledge of Windows XP and Window 7
- Thorough knowledge of Office 2003 and Office 2010 suite
- Desktop and Laptop hardware fault finding and upgrade experience
- Experience administering Novell ZENworks and Microsoft Active Directory/SCCM 2007 is an advantage
- Ability to deliver outcomes based on a project schedule
- Ability to work unsupervised at various locations
