We currently require a Lettings Officer in our Basingstoke Office to provide an efficient lettings service to all applicants for housing, ensuring a fair and consistent assessment is completed with each potential new resident. Working closely with Housing Officers and Sovereign Property Services a key priority is to keep void periods to a minimum and ensure Sovereign homes are let appropriately and within target timescales while delivering first class customer service and positively promoting our lettings service throughout our operating areas.

This role represents an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a dynamic and ambitious social housing provider. Working closely with the Housing Services Manager you will be an integral part of a successful Lettings team.

To succeed in this role you should have a good working knowledge of lettings and social housing management, allocation policies and choice based lettings as well as an understanding of support agencies and sources of help for tenants. Empathy for the needs of our residents and a passion for outstanding customer service are essential for this post.

Working 30 hours over 4 days per week, this is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave for up to 6 months.

Due to the travel requirements of this role a full current driving licence and access to your own transport is also essential.
