Legal Researcher

We are seeking an able and enthusiastic legal researcher to assist partners and other fee-earners with all aspects of Business Crime and Commercial Litigation and Civil Fraud Litigation research work, which will include both client and non-client related matters. The successful candidate will assist fee-earners in writing specialist conference papers and articles, so previous similar experience would be advantageous.

You will need an outstanding academic background (a very good first degree and GDL, if appropriate, together with a strong result in the LPC or bar equivalent post-graduate legal qualification), excellent research, drafting and IT skills and the ability to work under pressure in a challenging and exciting environment. Knowledge of one or more European languages would be a definite advantage.

We will consider part-time or flexible working arrangements and those applicants with academic research experience and skills are particularly welcome. The contract is offered for a year initially and may be extended, depending on business needs.

The starting salary is £26,000 and we offer a range of benefits.
