Legal Counsel - Swindon - 12 Month Contract - up to £400 a day

LEGAL COUNSEL - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - SWINDON - UP TO £400 A DAY

This large financial organisation is actively seeking a Legal Counsel for a 12 month contract. With multiple branches all over the UK they are the market leaders within their sector; however this role is based at their head quarters in Swindon.

Ideally you will have experience working within a similar role and preferably have commercial experience within a financial services environment. You should have an impressive background either in-house or private practice. Ideally your professional experience will cover commercial contracts, intellectual property and competition law. Naturally, this will be supported by an in-depth knowledge of regulatory and compliance controls plus a proven ability to think strategically and work on your own initiative.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE FOR THE LEGAL COUNSEL ROLE:- - Experience with the provision of contract law

- Intellectual property law
- Competition law advice
- Extensive experience plus PQE (or equivalent)

Working within a highly respected and motivated team, this role will see you working on third party contracts, intellectual property and competition law advice and promises plenty of variety besides. Coaching your colleagues, proactively monitoring changing national and EU legislation and taking every opportunity to improve and evolve our processes, systems and controls are important aspects of the role.
