My client, a telecommunications company is looking for an Legal Counsel - Property professional to provide property legal support to my client and the internal and external property teams on the Network Integration Project (including the associated upgrade programmes) and the on-going management of my client's Network.

My client supports a shared mobile network which serves over 50% of UK mobile customers. The work of this department is considered to be of strategic importance thus the pressure to deliver is high and the focus and support from senior management is also high. This is an ideal opportunity for an Enterprise Architect who wants centre stage in a business critical area. Successful candidates will be confident, highly competent with a strong work ethic and a track record of winning.

The Legal Counsel will be reporting to and supporting Senior Legal Counsel on all aspects of the Network Integration Project ensuring all programmes are delivered to target and budget along with negotiating agreements including new leases or licences, surrender and re-grants, licences to assign, deeds of assignment and deeds of variation or surrender with isolated owners, MSP's and OLO's.

As the Legal Counsel you will be required to draft notices to terminate Site Agreements and assisting with establishing various processes and policies to be developed for my client and/or with external lawyers and agents including drafting of initial application letters to and consent letters with Site-Providers with respect to Integration Activities.

The Legal Counsel will be advising the business on general Property/telecoms issues and general estate management queries including property disputes and Landlord and Tenant Act procedures along with working closely with the property teams to support their business requirements.

If you have the following skills for the Legal Counsel - Property role please apply ASAP:

* A qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property/telecoms is required
* Proven experience in commercial property - major law firm or blue chip company
* Experience of telecoms and network rollout activities is essential
* Experience in negotiating other commercial contracts would be an advantage
* Experience of complex property/telecoms dispute resolution and litigation including Landlord and Tenant Act would be valuable
