Projektbeschreibung

Role Purpose
Provide a broad range of learning, development and training advisory and consultancy service to all Directorates and Services, ensuring excellent customer service while and delivering all SLAs and performance targets.

Support the development and implementation of the corporate Employability & People Development Strategy aligned to organisational developments, ensuring consistency of approach and clearly defined processes and procedures that reflect best practice and support best value and the achievement of corporate goals.

Role Accountabilities & Key Activities People Development
Identify and coordinate the implementation of people development solutions to improve customer performance and to provide coaching to managers on people development issues.
Contribute to the design and development of employee learning, development and training strategies, and policies required to meet corporate and Directorate/Service level needs and objectives.
Within the corporate learning and development framework, deliver a portfolio of employee learning, development, E-learning and training offerings to meet corporate needs analysis.
Act as a coach/counsellor for the career development of competent employees to meet the skill requirements of the business and consistent with the objectives of the company.
Support the ongoing development of the corporate Performance Development Review process, aligned to induction, early career, talent management and succession planning strategies to support skill enhancement and future organisational resourcing needs.
Provide pro-active provision of employee learning, development, E-learning and training solutions (internal or external) to achieve individual employee development plan goals to enable all employees to realise their full potential.
Promotion and re-enforcement of equality and diversity policies through the design and delivery of development programmes.

Person Specification
Essential
*Strong understanding of development frameworks and systems
*Strong understanding of the learning cycle and methodologies, tools and techniques
*Practical knowledge of the principles of talent management and succession planning
*Sound understanding of learning and development systems, methodologies and frameworks
*Evaluation theories and practice
*Training needs analysis, skills audit and task analysis methodologies
*SQA & MA policies and processes, registration and funding
*Organisational awareness and knowledge of internal & external drivers
*Practical application of knowledge across the key areas of the role

Experience of implementing corporate initiatives
Assessing business needs from multiple sources, producing high level summaries and recommend appropriate interventions.
Broad generalist knowledge across all disciplines gained through experience

Qualifications
CIPD qualified or equivalent experience

Desirable
Instructor/Teaching/Training qualification
Trained to administer and assess psychometrics
