Learning & Competence Manager

LEARNINGwith business activities covering civil and military telecommunications and Earth observation, science and navigation programmes - together with a complete range of associated ground infrastructure and space equipment.

They are currently looking to recruit a Learning & Competence Manager to work at their Stevenage site with occasional travel to their portsmouth site and Munich.

Responsibilities:

The main objectives of Competence, Knowledge & Learning Management are to provide, promote and operate integrated processes and tools to maximise the competitiveness of the organisation, address current & future business challenges through the best possible match between current competences in the company and those needed, in line with the organisations business strategy.

You may contribute to the following:

Focal point for training need, policy, process support towards UK employees and managers
Investigation/Implementation of Synergies in country
Monitor and follow-up implementation of the country (UK) training plan (2015, 2016)
Support to HRBP activity for country (UK) - HR Site meetings, information sessions and training
Prepare analysis/presentations and represent the CoC with the business ie management boards
Prepare and deploy competence and learning campaigns at country level (as part of the Mid-Year Review)
Administrative support for country specific topics

Requirements:

Previous experience within an HR Competence & Learning Environment
Highly autonomous and results driven
Capacity to lead topics pro-actively and work within a transnational team (remotely)
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate at all level of organisational hierarchy
Experienced in delivering presentations to groups
Analytical thinking
Strong administration skills with an eye for detail
Good oral and written communication skills
Fluent English level
Advanced experienced of Excel and PowerPoint
Willing to travel occasionally (as required)

Desirable:

Learning and Competence experience or a desire to work in this field
