The L&D Manager will manage the service delivery through the design, implementation and delivery of practical training programmes for new and existing employees across the business and support implementation of business strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build and deliver training and plan and deliver new starter inductions
- Manage training plans across the business for new and existing employees
- Identify and carry out training needs analysis (TNA) as requested (by project office, line managers, senior managers and directors) and identify learning needs for the role
- Deliver skills based training (including generalist induction courses) to customer services and sales roles
- Deliver regulatory/legal training in accordance with business strategy (Anti-Money Laundering/Data Protection)
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- CIPD (Certificate in Training Practice) or equivalent training qualification
- Extensive experience designing and delivering training
- Experience managing L&D professionals
- Previous experience working for a SME within a Learning and Development training role (delivery)
- In depth knowledge and experience of Learning and Development
- Ability to liaise with senior management and key stakeholders
- The successful candidate will ideally come from financial services, regulatory or a pharmaceutical HR background.
