One of our clients, a mutlinational company in the pharmaceutical industry currently requires a Lean Supply Chain Expert
Start: 1/9/13
Length: 6 months
Location: South of Brussels
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
- Product team Transformation project and alignment with transformation
- Estimated workload - 4 to 5 days per week until December
and 1 to 2 days per week as of December until end of February
TASKS:
Review and analyse current organisation
Review current performance management approach
- Objectives/KPIs and targets (are they delivering against Continuous improvement objectives ? are they delivering against overall objectives?
- Performance management (metrics - visual mgt - analytics - actions)
- performance review meetings
- Management review meetings
- Interfaces within SC and outside SC (is the information in and out is effectively managed? Are meeting internal customer expectations?)
Review and analyse new organisation proposal
- Alignment with project objectives
- Alignment with new set of performance management meeting and new interface meetings
- Robust performance management process
- Finalize design job description link with processes/meeting and current processes/meetings
- Transition phase, change management and communication
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Analyse gap to best in class lean management approach
2. Define priorities and build transition phases
3. Implement transformation
PREREQUISITES:
Education:
Senior consulting level in lean and Supply chain management
Knowledge:
- Understanding of Supply chain concepts is a must: know concepts of lead time, safety stocks, production BOM
- Understanding of lean management
- Experience:
- Experienced in transformation program, change management and lean management implementation
