LEAN SPECIALIST
My client is leading global provider of insurance and annuities with Dublin standing as its EMEA hub. They are currently looking to a hire a Lean Specialist to lead an implementation programme in Dublin.
The chosen candidate will help to employ Lean management systems, behavioural tools & techniques. They will work with senior management in the identification and prioritisation of Lean based continuous improvement projects during the deployment wave.
Candidates will get the opportunity to help influence the driving force operations of a large multinational. This is a day rate contract and will be for an initial 5 month period.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and facilitate process improvement teams for initial wave deployment.
Provide on-going support and coaching
Business unit leadership for process improvement
Assist in creating a Lean continuous improvement culture
Coach management in the understanding and planning of Lean continuous improvement wave deployment
Oversee the alignment of projects with business objectives
Ensure appropriate governance of projects through checkpoint/tollgate reviews
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
Expert on lean principles & practices
Proven track record of achieving results in using Lean methodology and tools
Experienced in the provision of support to implementation waves
Experience managing and mentoring people and evaluating performance
Experienced in driving change in a diverse organization
Excellent written and oral communication skills
This is an excellent opportunity for a contractor to help implement a framework that will be key to the delivery of my client's objectives. This is a hi-pact position which offers candidates an excellent day rate.
