LEAN SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT

A market leading niche financial services organisation is seeking to employ an experienced Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. You will be joining a large programme of change which benefits from backing at the highest level and has already started to deliver large financial benefits. Candidates with consulting and industry experience would be desirable along with cross sector expertise.

You will be responsible for supporting the organisations goal of service excellence through the definition, implementation and on-going improvement of business processes.

Using a range of business improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma, while work closely with business owners to define, measure and improve business processes across the organisation.

The role holder will foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation with Lean Six Sigma becoming the organisational standard.

Responsibilities

Identify, initiate, and manage new Lean/Six Sigma projects.
Successfully manage projects to achieve cost saving targets, meet agreed project deadlines and proactively manage customer expectations.
Drive the effective use of project tracking to capture, measure, and monitor status, benefits and issues of Business Process Improvement projects.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, customers, business partners and stakeholders.
Lead, track, and ensure the Business Improvement teams are focused on projects of greatest opportunity, helping initiate projects to manage and streamline current processes in order to gain maximum efficiency while ensuring high productivity and customer satisfaction is met.
Develop, coach and mentor new Lean Leaders and Six Sigma Green Belts.

Desired Skills & Experience

Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
5 plus years Lean Six Sigma experience in the successful delivery of cross functional projects.
Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels within the organization, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously must be demonstrated.
Minimum Bachelors degree in a related field
