Lean Process/Business Analyst

My client, in the teleco's/utilities industry, is looking for a Lean Process/Business Analyst for a contract role that may go perm after 6 months.

Job Responsibilities:

- Support the development of our operating modelfamiliar with project management principles
- Use standard process modelling techniques such as scope diagrams, SIPOC: Input/Process/Output charts, process maps using ISO standard symbols, swim lane diagrams,
- Use basic facilitation techniques.
- Understand the relationship between business process modelling and automating business processes.
- Develop models used to check for completeness and consistency of data and process
- Create use cases or customer life cycle

IT BA TELECO'S AND OR UTILITIES BACKGROUND IS IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE.

LEAN SIX SIGMA EXPERIENCE AND OR QUALIFICATION ESSENTIAL

- Ability to effectively facilitate business process modelling, mapping and analysis workshops with business-technology audiences including senior members of management
- Experience with SIPOC analysis, producing process-maps, process-models using one or more industry standard process analysis and modelling tools
- Ability to communicate with technical artifacts such as Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Entity-Relationship Models, Data Flow Diagrams
- Experience eliciting and documenting business requirements and functional specifications necessary
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks to meet competing deadlines; familiar with project management principles
- Independent, logical thinker with proven ability to perform detailed data analysis and make sound decisions
- Intermediary troubleshooting abilities, with ability to problem solve complex technical issues independently within a timely fashion
- Intermediary ability to gather and analyse complex data
- Ability to understand operational business processes, and apply technical/system knowledge
- Must demonstrate excellent professional communication skills through clearly written, concise and comprehensive documentation; strong technical writing skills
- Must be capable of executing and publishing written requirements utilising the business intent and goals, while providing technical details to support workflow or system development
- Beginner/intermediate knowledge with database query tools such as AS400 or SQL
- Intermediate level skills in applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio
