Lean Engineer Job

Yoh has a 6 (six) month contract opportunity for a LEAN ENGINEER to join our client in Grove City, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Drive the use of fundamental Lean concepts on the shop floor to solve problems, set direction, eliminate waste in processes, and own visual management process.
- Assist in providing direction and material support for assigned production team.
- Assist teams in driving Lean Vision by leading and participating in Action Workouts.
- Work projects to drive ongoing improvements and drive the Lean Vision to the value stream.
- Assist team in business plan and support of business commitments.
- Provide technical support to the Value Stream.
- Assist team with other projects and business initiatives as they arise.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Operations Management.
- At least five (5) years of experience with Lean implementation.
- Experience in a machine shop environment.
- Six Sigma experience.
