Excellent job opportunity for a Lead UX Designer to manage and coach a team of Interaction and Visual designers working on product development for a comprehensive E-commerce platform

Scope of work

As a LEAD UX DESIGNER you will be part of the E-COMMERCE team main responsibilities will be:

- Execute the DESIGN VISIONand DESIGN principles of their E-COMMERCE ONLINE experience
- Leveraging your team of INTERACTIONand VISUAL DESIGNERS to create meaningful and valuable digital experiences for their customers
- Individual coaching of your team members
- Coordinate and plan your team's resources/workload to facilitate the product teams with designs.
- Presenting and justifying designs to product owners and business stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Together with other leads, contribute to the continuous improvement efforts of E-COMMERCEproduct development organisation.
- INTERACTION DESIGN, workflows, and detailed wireframe prototypes.
- Direction of VISUAL DESIGNand corporate branding activities
- Creating product-specific user experience guidelines that assist product development teams in making future design decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years solid experience as a UX DESIGNERworking on E-COMMERCE (business web-applications) products
- 3+ years of experience leading a DESIGN team working on E-COMMERCEproducts

CRITICAL SKILLS

- Leading and coaching a team of highly skilled DESIGNprofessionals
- Ability to combine user goals, business goals, epics and user-stories to create a viable user experience.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSSand JAVASCRIPT (coding skills not required)
- Experience with a range of software development practices, including AGILE/SCRUMand user-story based methods.
- Superlative presentation and written communication skills.
- Experience working directly with clients in a consulting role, including leading client meetings.
- In-depth knowledge of the latest design and prototyping tools
