Lead Subsea Process Engineer

Leap29 are looking for a Lead Subsea Process Engineer to work for a well-established oil and gas engineering client based in the UK. This is an onshore position with a focus on offshore projects. You will be working in the technical department in a multidiscipline environment on a large international project. Focus on field development in the Caspian sea on a muti million pound contract.

Rate: Negotiable hourly rate
Location: Middlesex
Start: Immediate
Duration: Minimum 12 month +

Tasks & responsibilities

Responsible for Subsea Process
Manage, review and undertake subsea process system
Supervise the process engineering team and be able to delegate tasks.
Manage direct client and contractor interfaces for the process team.
Manage relationship with the flow assurance team.
Check and approve calculations and reports in support of subsea field development
Manage development of P&ID's, PFD's, HAZOPs and other safety deliverables.
Supervise the design of process equipment.
Lead the development of process design and operating guidelines.
Lead study work for potential design enhancements to existing projects.
Manage project deliverables in accordance with project schedules and budgets.
Maintenance of project documentation and deliverables compliant with client, company and international standards.
Technical review and approval of proposed design changes.

Key requirements:

A degree in Chemichal Engineering
Extensive Subsea experience
Previous work within a large project is essential
Experience of HYSYS and Pipesim required
Available to contract work in the UK
