Lead Structural Engineer

A global Renewable Energy client is looking for a Lead Structural Engineer to work on their offshore wind farm project. We are looking for the Lead Structural Engineer to be available to start this initial 4 months freelance contract from 1st May 2016. There is a possibility that this role will be extended further into 2017.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- The Senior Marine Engineer will follow up structural activities for the clients wind farm project.
- The Marine Engineer will support the company representative and ensure that all structural design and construction follow-up activities are prepared, performed and documented in accordance with the clients values, governing documentation, contract requirements, applicable rules and regulations, and excellent HSE performance

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CANDIDATE: 

- MSc degree or equivalent
- Experience from marine operation activities
- Wind and/or offshore floating structures
- Complex marine behaviour of substructure and mooring systems
- Detail knowledge of structural design of offshore structures including load-out, lifting, fabrication, installation
- High focus on HSE. Ethics and the clients values
- Ability to handle responsibility
- Must have good English verbal and written
