Lead Solution Architect (AWS/Azure, Serverless/APIs/Microservices)

Next Ventures have been engaged to recruit 2 Lead Solution Architects with expertise in Domain Architecture, Decoupled/Serverless Architectures, Public Cloud and DevOps for a globally renowned Consumer Goods brand in the Amsterdam region.

Our clients Enterprise Architecture function is expanding its Solution Architecture team with a view to revolutionising technology platforms and architecting a technology landscape that is simplified, modern and flexible. The highly visible Solution Architecture function is focused on aligning strategic objectives with tactical demands - creating, maintaining and executing solution approaches aligned to both global roadmaps and architectural principles established by the Enterprise Architecture function. The role will collaborate and partner with executive management, and technical and functional leaders to understand long and short term business and technology strategies, provide thought leadership and engage in proactive planning of an executable technology roadmap.

Requirements

Current knowledge of industry best practices for capabilities in areas such as Innovation, Planning, Design, Development, Sourcing and Manufacturing.

7+ years solution architecture and technology roadmapping; 3+ years as a Lead Architect and 10+ years combined hands-on engineering experience with public cloud, distributed computing, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), and custom developed solutions.

Large enterprise experience including global experience with solution delivery, engaging and influencing effectively at all levels in a Matrix environment.

Strong leadership, confidence, and influencing skills. High level of executive presence.

Expertise in two or more from Domain Architecture; decoupled and serverless architectures such as API's and Microservices; AWS and Azure cloud solution architectures; and CI/CD/DevOps.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
