Lead Software Test Engineer

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for a Lead Software Test Engineer for a 12 month contract-to-hire position inMayfield Village, Ohio. The Agent Services/Web Presence Team within the Product Acquisition IT (PAIT) Platform is looking for a highly motivated individual to work closely with the Testing Organization and Domain Architect as an IT Software Test Engineer at the Senior or Lead level. This person will be providing strategic and visionary input to the various applications supported in our organization - with a primary focus on Big Data projects (HadoopIdeal candidates will have experience in leading/implementing change with testing process and methodologies.)
Supporting developmental testing strategy for the Agent Service/Web Presence organization; includes designing test harnesses, responders, and tools/utilities; background with Java or C# programming languages for testing purposes. Experience designing automation frameworks in the past will be helpful for this position.
Providing testing leadership in design reviews, code reviews, and test reviews.
Analyzing trends in data and make recommendations for improvements.
Designing and constructing complex software systems that assist testers with testing activities.
Due to the nature of the work, ideal candidates will have experience quickly adapting and assimilating to technologies and teams. Therefore, superior leadership and soft-skills (ie communications and collaboration) are required.
