Out client it looking for a Lead Software Stack Engineer to contribute directly to the design, development and testing of cooperative ITS applications, wireless network and medium access control layer protocols.

You will need the appropriate development skills:

- Passionate about Embedded Linux software
- Wide interest in the 'trade' of software development
- Some (preferably wireless) protocol stack development experience
- Systems admin & Scripting skills
- Pragmatic approach to development process
- Experienced at leading a team of excellent (and sometimes opinionated) developers
- Demonstrated project management successes
- An interest in all things RF
- 802.11 or other MAC development experience
- An appreciation of typical RF architecture, propagation and impairments
