Lead Scrum Master - Agile required for a Government client based Newcastle, North East 500.

As the Lead Scrum Master You are an essential component of the multi-disciplinary agile Digital Delivery Centre.

Your experience delivering online, web and digital products will be essential to ensure the smooth running of a highly paced collaborative environment.

The role of Lead Scrum master will not only lead the Scrum Master community but also work and collaborate with the software development teams, product managers, operations managers and other digital centre's to ensure that the client has the technologies and processes they need in place for 20 teams to work efficiently and do their jobs.

As Lead Scrum Master for Digital Centre you will be responsible to remove blockers and impediments and resolve issues with technology throughout the Centre on a daily basis and continually improve processes and working practices.

Ensure that all our scrum teams are working consistently and delivering to the agile scrum methodology, implement reporting and monitoring progress.

you'll need to bring strong agile, technical and leadership skills and have worked in a similar role.

Help grow an effective self-organising, cross-functional and disciplined teams where individuals recognise that team success is more important than individual success. Promote learning, experimentation and knowledge sharing and encourage creativity.

Help the teams to continuously improve their process and behaviour through regular reflection and adaptation.For this role you will need:

A passion for the web, digital and web technologies

Strong technical skills in both infrastructure and software development

Extensive agile and scrum experience.

Strong team leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate, energize people, encouraging self management and collaborative working.

Experience of leading and delivering web and digital solutions with transactional capability and interfacing to customer data systems.

Significant background within open source technologies such as Java, Scala, Jenkins, Ruby, Django, Python, Jenkins etc

Knowledge of WebOps, DevOps, Cloud based systems is highly beneficial
