Lead Project Engineer/Project Delivery

Position Description:
Working with and reporting to the Lead Project Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for a Platform manual transmission on programmes. The responsibility will include engineering activities to ensure robust programme delivery including commodity plans, FMEA, DVP, eFVDS and supplier liaison. A close working relationship is also required with purchasing, manufacturing, STA and interfacing design groups to agree and deliver the needs of the programmes.

Skills Required:
Experience in, Microsoft Project, Excel, Powerpoint, Word are essential, Self motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision The ability to manage complex technical issues to balance the needs of the business, using analytical skills, working with data, within project timing constraints Appreciation of both CAE and imperical test techniques The Candidate must hold a valid Drivers License and be able to obtain a Driving Permit for vehicle test.

Skills Preferred:
Experience with GPDS and AIMS processes
Strong communication skills
Good Presentation Skills

Experience Required:
A working knowledge of manual transmissions, and driveline components.

Experience Preferred:
Understanding of gear design and testing techniques. Synchroniser operation and development. Fatigue analysis and sign off test development from RLD

Education Required:
Applicants must be educated to Degree level or equivalent
